About

The Lake Champlain Walleye Association is dedicated to the restoration and enhancement of the walleye population in Lake Champlain and its tributaries. Founded by passionate anglers and conservationists, the LCWA focuses on habitat restoration, hatchery support, and sustainable management practices to ensure the long-term health of this important species.

Through our efforts, including partnerships with the Vermont Department of Fish and Wildlife, we help raise and release thousands of walleye fry and fingerlings each year. These initiatives not only improve the walleye fishery but also contribute to the ecological balance of the lake and its surrounding waters.

In addition to our restoration projects, the LCWA is committed to engaging the community through educational programs, volunteer opportunities, and events that promote responsible fishing practices and conservation awareness.

Vermont's waters hold some of the best walleye fishing in the Northeast, where patience and precision meet the thrill of the catch. It's not just about the fish; it's about the connection to the land and the rhythm of the water that makes each outing unforgettable. – LCWA
